Off Sick Following IVF Treatment

I have had an adverse reaction to medication wrongly given to me for IVF. My doc has now signed me off sick for 1 week.

I am stressed out now as at work its the busiest time of year and they are also short staffed.
My manager has bent over backwards to allow me to have time off, now I' am ill I feel like Ive totally 'blown-it' with work.

I am wondering whether i should just go into work tomorrow even though i feel like rubbish.

not yet
on what basis did the doc sign you off....I mean why? are you vomitting, bleeding, feeling dizzy or what? Did you ask for the sick note?
Question Author
she put Endoctorine Dysfunction.

I didn't ask for a sick note. She just signed me off as soon as she saw me.

I went to docs to see if there were any meds she could give me to help me feel better
and you didn't discuss it with the doctor?
You decide.

If you feel up to it go to work and scrub the sick note, if you're not well enough then stay home.

I don't think there's really a middle option except to have another couple of days off and keep the sick note in case you need it for after the weekend.
