Finger out of socket

My finger seems to have come out of its socket - it did it once before but put itself right after a couple of hours. Do you think its ok to leave it and see if it goes back? It doesnt hurt - its just at a funny angle (it does hurt if I try to move it). Many thanks

Official answer...

Don't try and move it, put ice on the joint and go and see a doctor or A&E...

Unofficial answer...

Click it back in place (it'll hurt) and be careful in future, it's weak now!

Thanks Chuckfickens - will think about it!
I dunno... I dislocated the tips of both my little fingers coming off my bike a few years back and my friend put them back in; however he was theatre nurse so I felt pretty confident, not sure I would have done it myself. I'm too much of a wuss.
I agree with the "unofficial" answer of Chuck.
I would do the ChuckFickens official answer.
