FAO Crafty (and anyone else wanting to quit smoking)

How's the no smoking going Crafty? Are you still on the E-cigs? I've recently come across this forum whilst Googling, and joined. Their advice regarding E-cigs is invaluable and they've very helpfully helped me choose my next upgrade.

My E-cig whilst helping me to combat cigarettes, doesn't give me enough ooomph or the vapour plume when I "smoke" them, so i'm eagerly awaiting my new one to come via the posty.

My manager knows I smoke behind the till, I told him, well asked if it was ok if i did, and ive already said I don't do it in front of customers, they're always sneaky "drags" when no one's around.

ladybird - I didn't answer because I've already said I'm not giving up normal cigarettes, I just use the e-ciggie at work instead of smoking normally. I don't really see why anyone would have to give up the e-ciggie to be honest.

sorry to sound as defensive as i did bednobs and ladybird. It's just im getting a little bit peeved over the amount of people who say "oo well done on giving up, when you gving up the ecigs then?"

can't see why you'd give up something that's harmless. Much less dangerous than sucking a pencil, no lead poisoning

Coughing is preferable to being on the receiving end of my nicotine starved irritability, which I fully realise isn't a good enough reason to continue smoking but I don't care.

B00 I understand and applaud anybody that gives up smoking and I hope you all succeed. BUT these ecigs are unregulated, untested, come mainly from China, no agency, governmental or otherwise is checking that what it says on the box is what is inside. Worryingly the FDA also detected traces of powerful cancer-causing chemicals and lots of concerns have been raised about them. So jno I don't think you can be certain they are harmless and that's why I'm concerned that my daughter is puffing away at these like there's no tomorrow even though I am pleased she's not smoking tobacco. But she still smokes and I don't know what she's smoking. Maybe I worry too much.
