I had a LOVELY gold suit to wear to a disco once with sequins down the side, teamed with black ankle boots! Oh and a cream duffle coat!!

Mother made me wear an all in one "flying suit" aka clown suit...purple with multicoloured buttons on......it also came in yellow which i had. Truley awful

Also had a bomber jacket with a dinosaur hood....was purple with green dinos on it and when the hood was up it was spikey like a dinos back LOL

I wear hotpants too.... Yellow platforms though!! Hahahahah

I had yellow "drainpipe" jeans...like superrrr skinny....im sure they were teamed lovely with timberland boots !!

Jesus i had guys rockport boots aswell.....why!

And a lacoste tracksuit....with a long gold tweety pie necklace..l.AWFUL xx

I had a dusty pink padded coat, no buttons, just wrapped around - I looked as though I was wearing a duvet!!

I once wore pjs to a New Year's Eve party. They were on the sale rale in M&S. Flowery top with black bottoms. Then I saw them in the PJ section a week later!

The psychedelic tie-dye T shirt and the crimson loon pants ... coupled with shoulder length hair and a dodgy moustache ... what could be wrong with that.

Especially with the shaggy afghan coat for cool evenings ...

I don't think any of the above were fashion disasters at the time. They are now as they're old fashioned, but at the time I'm willing to bet you all looked really cool.
