Sorry tinks it just seems that you've done without them for at least 3 years, then decide you can get them free whilst unemployed, just before you start work.
Ive also had free dentistry so the same would apply to that. Ive worked hard to get through uni and looked desperately for a job since december- worked since i left school at 16 and am more than entitled to some help towards glasses. And not ashamed to take it either.
Im not waiting two months-my eyes are really sore, i wouldnt be able to drive or work with no lenses and cant wear them.
Actually maidup theres some plain black ones for 25/30 quid starting, ....!! Just wanting something to do just now and when i save up money ill get a nice pair....i dont want deirdrie barlows right enough LOL ;0> x
I like those tank some are leopard print and floral etc id like a few pairs to change about....but its long distance i need :0( i can read no bother.....so theyre no use to me xx
If you have your last prescription take it along to specsavers daughter got a pair there for £25! Nice frames too. She sat on her other ones (she paid over £300 for them too) but much prefers the cheap and cheerful version - she's planning to go back and get the same ones in different coloured frames
I binned them lol! I cant even see the tv in bed now!!
My eyetest is up to date though...some of the cheapy ones are ok! And ive been looking on ebay at some 2nd hand ones too...might just need the lenses replaced....x
I got offered them when I went in for my last eye test and have been a customer for a while now; am going to take them up on the offer 'cause really want new frames! Not sure; might be a bit flimsy like you say, worth asking I suppose but don't know how cheaply they'd do it.
