Try alternating the washes with dry shampoo.
I use Bastise (think that's how it's spelt) but there are loads others out there.
Just spray it on the roots, and then work it in a bit.

My hair is quite fine and I use Levine in the orange bottle and find that I rarely have to condition it and it doesn't go lank.

Thanks for your answers. Elvive just does nothing for my hair. I may try the dry shampoo but would still have the same static from the days that I wash.

Greenfly I have the same type of hair in fact this last few years I have lost so much hair that I now only have half of what I had.. I find not using conditioner is the best way.. I wash with head and shoulders, then I use *bed head 3 in 1* . I cant do links but its a purple ball type bottle it lasts ages as I only need a pea size blob.

I have used Aveda shampoos for years and my hair always looks good, I never ever need to use a conditioner either. Depending on your hair type there is a variety to try, so I would ask the person selling what would be the best for you. Aveda can be bought in some Department stores or in hairdressing salons

Try an anti-static hairbrush, I used to have problems with static flyaway hair until I bought one a few years ago. I do use a fair bit of product on my hair as well though due to the style needing it.

I find that mythic oil is brilliant. It is something you add a few drops of to your hair before blow drying. My hair sounds the same as yours. It smooths it without becoming lank. Quite pricey but because you use so little lasts forever.

I like Brilliant Brunette shampoo, and I've been using Aussie Miracle Moist conditioner, which seems really good.

I have fine flyaway hair and still can't get out of the habit of washing it everyday. The one I keep going back to is Pantene Smooth & Sleek 2 in 1 or just the shampoo and use a spritz of Aussie Mate leave in conditioner if I need it.

When I was younger Jogger, there were two products, Stay Blonde and Brunitex. Probably at the time I tried Brunitex, but I dont really remember.

I also like Brilliant Brunette shampoo and conditioner (the volumising one). Paul Mitchell Original Shampoo One is good for fine hair too.

The "Aussie" range is excellent for this - there is one specifically to stop flyaway hair .......... so check on the bottle.
