I currently take 50mg Atenolol, 8mg Perindopril and most recently 10mg Amlodipine for high blood pressure. I also take 400mg carbamazapine for trigeminal neuralgia. Since I started taking the Amlodipine I have been more
lethargic and sleepy than usual. It seems like all my get up and go has left!
I also take 2mg of diazepam at night [the doctor is trying to wean me off the
diazepam [I was on 10mg temazepan for years] and having trouble knocking
the last 2mg of diazepam on the head. A recent blood test showed an abnormal thyroid function, but the doctor just said repeat the blood test in 2 months as it could be just a blip.I'm fed up with feeling so tired and even started getting tearful which is unlike me. Any advice please.

If you have just started taking Amlodipine, you will be feeling tired until your body gets accustomed to it and this it WILL do but may take a few weeks.
