Ive been told that they should be recalibrated after so long but, where can you have it done?

Ask your local doctor's surgery if they can include your monitor when they get theirs calibrated.
If it is the wrist or arm oscillometer e.g Boots with batteries, I didn't think that they needed calibrating, just the batteries renewing.
You can usually get it done at your local pharmacy.
