Just wanted to update you regarding the husband's swollen elbow. Last night I noticed the swelling had progressed even further down towards his wrist with very definite demarcation. I marked it in felt tip just to see if it worsened and sure enough when we got up this morning it had moved about 2 inches. Rang the Out Of Hours GP at 6am (We're in the sticks and have no A&E) and he told him to come in. The doc there took him off the Flucloxacillin and put him on Co - Amoxiclav and advised to keep it elevated. He didn't give him a diagnosis as such - or if he did hubby wasn't listening!! Thanks again!

Have every faith in you Sqad! Would you prescribe anything for whining - it seems to be a side effect of this condition? ;-D
Ha ha that made me smile... Mr M came in from work this evening and said ' I think I've pulled ligament in my leg'. He's in his late 60's and diabetic so I felt quite sympathetic, then he said 'or it could be these socks are too tight' I'll have some of those whining tablets please Sqad...
