Why not have a counselling session with a dietician - your doctors centre should be able to advice appropriate advice. Sounds like you may be run down a bit, tinkerbell, and just need some personal TLC.
Tonsils out possibly?
you gave up your job because you had tonsillitis??
Anyway, How long ago was the tonsillitis?
don't know your age tink, but I find that taking B complex vitamins help me to feel much more energetic!.........may be worth a try!..............
so sorry to hear that Tinks. I went through the same sort of thing a few months back. 4 lots of tonsillitis in as many months! and i felt like you. I have been getting early nights, trying to eat healthily and eating lots of fresh fruit and veg. I am feeling a lot better now and an added bonus of losing a few pounds!

so get plenty of rest and eat well and hopefully you will soon be feeling a lot better xx

After I had some minor surgery I was advised to eat a good quantity of protein and take zinc supplement to aid healing. I have continued with the zinc long after the surgery healed and I feel better. Zinc helps your immune system.
you sound run down Tinks. you have definitely been doing too much. sleep when your body is telling you to and have chat with the doctor xx
Tinkerbell is at college and had a part time job Bednobs, I think it was all getting a bit much with trying to fit in studying too.
Tinks, when did you last see the doc? Could you have glandular fever? I remember my friends daughter got it after a bout of flu or something and she was really tired all the time. Hope you feel better soon x

Sounds as if your immune system is not working properly.
You sound really run-down tinks. Go see your doctor, apart from getting some rest I think you need something to clear up your chest, it looks as though the antibiotics haven't done the trick.

You can't go on like that tinks, it will wear you out. You must get some help. Make a fuss if your doc doesn't listen to you.
