Would activities like reading, walking the dog, or gardening be enough to fill the void?

reading alone would do it for me but so many hobbies and things still to finish someone switch me off right now
I have lots of hobbies too, well, stuff like photography, reading, quizzes but I like the Internet for booking flights and buying musing downloads, so I would miss it for that
Reading for me probably. Or back to back episodes of family guy, special victims unit, House and waking the dead.... I don't have a dog and I hate gardening.

Well I manage without the internet when on holiday, so it wouldn't be that bad.

Reading and walking (no dog though) and maybe visiting local attractions would pass a lot of time.
Helping people that cannot do a lot for themselves.
I'd just do what I did about 10 years ago before I had the internet. Don't really remember what although I know I spent more time on country walks.
I would actually write letters to friends...I miss getting personal letters in the post....can't remember when I sent or got one.

Had to google luthiery Trim, every day I learn something on this site so thanks.
well stuff like shopping, research and banking would more than fill the time..those things are loads easier with the net.
I can't get into my email at the moment - don't know what I have done - and that's bad enough.
I'd go and have a wash (:o(
I might get more housework and ironing done
Blow the housework and the ironing - where's my email?
Me too Euphemia - I vowed I wouldn't come on here this morning, until I'd done what needs doing. Yeah, right ;-(
One way of escaping the chores, Boxtops
I asked my sis in law what she does all day now that she has partly retired, (she works Thurs/Fri). She says she spends most of the time on her laptop and manages to stop in time to get some chores done and make dinner for her husband. She said she is addicted to it. .........I would spend my time reading or crosswords, before my computer days I used to buy quiz magazines but I just do the newspaper ones now.
