I have just joined a gym 3 weeks ago and i go around 3-4 times a week. I tend to do the cross trainer and a small jog on the running machine followed by some arm and leg weights and a small easy work out on my stomach muscles. Ive been experiencing the above. Stomach pains, sickness and the squits only after my workouts. The other day i had to literally sprint from the running machine to the toilet! Then i was fine! Ive read some articles on google about it but i was just wondering if anyone else has had this before/is going through this and how long it will last before my body can/will get used to exercise and pack up making me ill! its putting my off using the gym now! Im fit and healthy for my age and size

If you are absolutely sure that it is the exercise that is causing it then here are a couple of suggestions. The first is to change your eating pattern so that you are exercising with an empty bowel. The second is to try using a small dose of loperamide to slow down your bowel peristalsis.
** read the instructions on the packet. I am not a doctor but have used this method if I have a long journey**
