I had two removed a few weeks back, no pain at all and one was right on my bra strap line, put my bra on straight after as well.
Hi Crisgal, my mam had a mole removed from her foot a few years back, she said it wasn't painful but that it was very tender and sore afterwards. Hope it goes okay for you xx
I had an under-bra-strap one removed 14 years ago (I only remember because it was just a couple of days after my son was born!). had a local anaesthetic, which stung a bit but then it was fine :o)
I had a 'crusty' one removed at the doc's, it was over and done with in less than 10 minutes - no pain during or after. Defo better than either a smear test or mamogram.
Hi, I have had several moles removed. I had no problems at all. The worse part was that I was allergic to the micropore tape they put on the dressing. Good luck to you
unlikey - good luck
No of course it won't hurt. They'll numb you up and you won't feel anything except a bit of pressure as the Doc removes the mole. The only problem with Docs is that sometimes the scar is bigger and the stitches not as fine as having it done in hospital. But as long as you're not vain and the scar won't be on your face, it shouldn't really matter. I've had a couple and the scar from one is still pretty lumpy after a decade, fortunately it's hidden :-) Good luck.
Oooh yes, just saw another post. A smear is far far worse. Don't you just hate 'em ladies :-)
