i sometimes get awful stomach cramps i think due to constipation. i get to the stage them im doubled over and have to hold my breath. it happened recently and my fingertips went tingly then numb. i do feel like fainting sometimes and go clammy, is the fingertips thing a sign you are about to faint?

I have never come across this "finger tip" sensation as a precursor of "fainting" but presumably as the blood flow before fainting is redistributed to the brain and other essential organs then the blood supply to the fingers may be starved.

Are under your GP for the constipation? if that's the cause of all this it sounds like the obvious thing to get sorted properly, constipation in itself can lead to other disorders if ignored.
Many years ago in my 30s I went through a phase of fainting/collapsing after getting bad stomach cramps, but the doctor was totally unconcerned- he said loads of people faint when they get pain, see blood etc- and he sent me away. I don't remember tingly fingers.
Anyway the phase passed
Is there any chance it is anxiety related? My friend has panic attacks and she gets tingling in her fingers and the tip of her tongue when one is coming on - she then hyperventilates, feels faint and clammy etc.
