Well I do know that we are made up of 75% water, and the moon controls the tides, it's cycle is 28 days - so there is no doubt that the moon may affect moods. And if the moon does, why not other planets? I would be skeptical about the moon controlling the menstrual cycle though - the "ideal" apparently is 28 days off and then 5 days on. So that alone makes 33 days of the cycle. And again, not all women are the same, so I would dispute it. I would say that the mood swings come from an imbalance of hormones at a given time in the cycle. This is all guesswork from experience really, so I am open to being wrong!
Well my girlfriend and all of her freinds all start their periods around the time of the full moon. My current girlfriend is a compltete nightmare at that time. One of her friends had an abortion and lost synch with the moon. Oddly enough she still experiences depression at the time of the full moon, but not before her period, which was when she used to suffer.
Lyle Watson wrote a book "Supernature" in the 70's and coverd this. Cool book
