PowerDVD wont run

When i double click on the Powerdvd 6 icon on the desktop, the hourglass cursor pop up, and then nothing happens, as if i never clicked it! I uninstalled it and tried Versioin 5 which is fine, tho. What is causing this? Iv not changed anything, it just happened, there is no virus or spyware that i have found.

try re installin windows i had the same prob but now its fine,its a bug some were mayb you have 2 media players battling for been default player,that was my prob

Thanks for that - turns out that the new Microsoft Antispyware was stopping it before i put my password in. All ok now, tho.
