persistant headache

Hi

I have been getting a headache in the same place everyday for a couple of weeks or more now, it just sort of comes on randomly and fades after 5-6hours but it is really painful and no amount of paracetamol has managed to shift it yet it just goes on its own. anyone got any recommendations for something to shift it as its driving me mad with any loud noise or jolty movement causing a shot of intense pain around my head!?

I tend to do a week on week off approach to my contacts as i suffer from my eyes drying out during the winter so at the moment i cant see that being the reason.

I tend to get very headachey especially round having a cold.

I've also found certain other things have given me regular headaches, the contraceptive pill Dianette and artificial sweetners. Once I stopped them, the headaches stopped.
