We have something called 'The Hashhouse Harriers' in Edinburgh. Is that similar to what you mean?

I agree, they'll spill it.

They do seem to have fun on these runs. I have never seen so many sweaty beer bellies in Ryrie's Bar at one time for years. It is an image that will live with me forever.

i´ll try and explain a typical day with hash in a few words. a group of people with average fitness meet in an arranged meeting point, usually in the country. b4 we start any activity, we have a wee chat, introduce ourselves to newcomers. then run or walk for about an hour or so. then later we chat, have several beers(usually cold) snacks, take the urine, and generally have a good time.
if interested, look at your local town/city on google, eg hash sheffield, hash leeds etc...

I lived in Bahrain in the 80s, and I remember the Hash House Harriers went running out there, in the desert. Nutters.
