pain in shoulder neck

have fierce pain in neck and shoulders , struggling to turn to the side . Have used deep heat, heat pad and pain killers little relief. It is giving me a headache any ideas on other remedies

Hi pinkwink , I have no idea how old you are but could you get checked by your gp , even if you're young it may be arthritis or a trapped nerve or somesuch complaint .x

Have you tried ice pack for 10 mins then followed by heat pad? When I pulled a muscle in my back I did that alternating them for about an hour took the pain away for a while.

Did you do something or did it suddenly come on?

ta crazy no all of a sudden and now i have headache and earache. Have booked for massage wednesday

Did you turn it abruptly or feel it suddenly , could be sore if you've pulled it , and the rest of the surrounding muscles will tense up around it and be painful and restricting your movement . Have you got a decent analgesic to take while you get to see a doc ?

have taken neurofen dont remember twisting it. top of spine is worst.

Is it too sore to touch? you could try massaging it but not if it's really painful.

Think you should go to gp tomorrow if it's still there you might need antiflamatories.

Poor poor Pink think you have to have a slug of brandy or whiskey to help you sleep and defo go to gp

I know when I pulled a muscle in my back - doing nothing -I thought it had broken- lol - I couldn't believe a pulled muscle could be so painful. Soon got better with some pills from GP

dont you go putting a claim in for it pink you know funds are short and it all needs to go in the fund to buy me out of solitary.
