If a woman has sex on day 14 or so of her cycle, doesnt use protection but the man doesn't 'you know' inside her, what would the chances of being pregnant be? I know its a difficult question to answer but was just wondering what people think.
squad thats not true. Just because he hasn't come inside her does not mean she can't get pregnant. some come may leak and that's enough for her to become pregnant.
If you don't want to be pregnant, I'd get the morning after pill. Although the chances are slim, there are a lot of grey areas (did he definitely not? when did you ovulate? etc. etc.) so it's not impossible, improbable, but not impossible!. (You're also not covered against STDs).
sasha.....the first cc. of ejaculation is from the prostate gland and does not contain spermatazoa. If he pulls out and then ejaculates, the worst possible scenario is that some intitial fluid, devoid of sperms, may leak out.
I will amend my answer:
It is extremely unlikely that you can become pregnant if the man doees not ejaculate iside the vagina.
He didnt *** inside but it was quite prolonged and deep. Your answers are what I thought. I just was wondering if a pill was unnecessary if the chances are that low. Appreciate your answers.
In my opinion it is highly improbable but not impossible. I'm thinking of any pre-ejeculate fluid that may have been present. I am no doctor - but I did work for a family planning clinic for 18 years - I remember our doctor there used to advise people that pre-ejaculate fluid could in actual fact cause pregnancy, though the chances were slim.
I agree the pre-ejaculate would contain few rubbish (low motility etc.) or no sperm. I was more concerned that he definitely didn't, things are not always so black and white about what went where in the heat of the moment!
The morning after pill is your best bet, a lot more effective than crossed fingers
Its an old one that, "The baby's not mine cos I didn't even ejaculate" My Mum had 6 kids and each time my father swears he didnt ejaculate.
On a serious note though, it really isn't worth taking the tiniest of a chance of getting pregnant when the result could be an unwanted baby.
