Tearing my hair out now!! I've completed both grids with the exception of one answer in left hand grid, and two in right hand grid, but reckon I've got something in wrong place as I can't find these three solutions anywhere!

1. Begins with K ... A game of tag, similar to kabaddi, played during Kerala's festival of Onam.
I have KU?U?U?A

2. Begins with O ... The French term for the hammerhead, a stork-like bird which builds huge nests.
I have O?B?E?T?

3. Begins with Q ... A petty complaint, once.
I have QI?B?I?

If I have another answer wrongly placed in grids, these letters could of course be completely wrong!!

I'd greatly appreciate a strong nudge!! (S)

3 Quibble
KutuKutu

Kutukutu is a popular and entertaing game played during the festival of Onam. It is a fun game and very much like the popular game of Kabaddi played in several parts of India. Though simple in nature, the game is an extremely challenging one as it tests strength, speed, tact and the power of lungs of a player
Ombrette

Many thanks TOMMO33 that's just the job.

aniani ... you've nudged me towards the answer, which is actually QUIBLIN.

Thanks to you both. (S)
Umbrette is English hammerhead, so, if your O is right, probably Ombrette.

Many thanks mjd ... all finished now, although the three letter F and M answers appear to fit into either grid !! (S)
Re the two 3-letter answers. I forgot at first that each grid has exactly one answer beginning with each letter of the alphabet.
So, for example, the 3-letter M answer won't be in the same grid as the other M answer. :)

Of course and thanks Rose ... if only I'd read the preamble more closely it would have been far easier when filling in the two grids!!!! (S) :O(
You should find that each grid contains only one of each A to Z answer. So there is only one possibility for these two answers!

The old poetic word for Ireland is FAL.

Thanks Sarumite.
I am not quite clear as to what is the last letter of the Irish question. Is the word FAI or FAL ?'. And where did you find it?

Best wishes
