Antibiotics and drowsiness

I was prescribed a couple of "strong" antibiotics by my GP and am a few days into the course. I feel really drowsy all the time, and I wasn't until I started on them. There's no mention of this on the contra-indications so is it just coincidence?

yes, i think so. maybe whatever's wrong with you, needing antibiotics, is what's causing you to feel drowsy.

I feel that ethandron is quite correct BUT some antibiotics can cause drowsiness in some people.
