My three and a half year old son has been potter trained for over a year now, but now matter how hard I try I can't seem to keep him dry during the night. Any suggestions? I have tried waking him up to use the toilet in the middle of the night, but that dosn't seem to work?

I had the same problem with my son who is now 9. What I had to do was limit his drinking from teatime to just one small drink, make sure he went to the toilet several times before bed then just get him up once when I went to bed. It took a week or so but he was soon sorted. Good luck!

Thanks I will try that!.x
Hi I am going through exactly the same thing with my 3 year old girl now. Tonight is only her 2nd night of no nappies and last night she did wet the bed but only once I think! I use Pampers bed mats and she has a night light and a potty in her room which she is told to use if she needs to . The problem is I think she weed when she was asleep so I have no idea how or when it will stop! I have told her I will give her 3 stickers every time she has a dry night and when she gets 20 I will buy her a present so we will see what happens tonight. I have also started giving her usual bed time milk drink at around 5pm so she is hardly having any other drinks at all and she has done 2 wees before bed. If you have any other ideas let me know and good luck, keep me posted maybe we can see who does it first!!!

Where did you get the pampers bed matts from Tigwig I haven't seen them in Tesco's. I'm trying Lounurse's idea tonight, so I will keep you posted!.x
I've seen them in Asda. I've just got my 3 and a half year old son dry at night, i can't tell you how, it just happened, he's only been trained for the last month but i just stopped the nappies and he accepted that, he does his last pee about 9pm and then goes straight thru til morning.
They sell Pampers bed mats in Morrisons as well and Boots
