Side effects of Doxycycline

Have started a course of doxyxycline and feel worse than before i took them - stiffness in my left side, ringing in ears etc anyone else suffered? does this calm down or do i need to see a doctor?

I would go to the doctor and get it checked out. I have taken Doxycycline for about a year (I took them for acne) and never suffered any side effects.
They affect people in different ways, but it's always best to get it checked out.
You can probably be changed to something else if it affects you that badly.

This side effect is not common, but at the same time not unusual. Depending on what you are taking them for, your GP will be able to prescribe alternatives.
