You don't tell us your age/sex or if you have any medical problem. A 'heavy' feeling in the chest can indicate a cardiac problem. See your GP.
Hi, i think i know what you mean, does it just feel like someone has been sitting on your chest all night? im only 20 and i have had this several times, and the day after i ache a little when i bend over. I went to see the doctor and he said he had never heard of anyone complaining of this before, and if it doesnt bother me too much, then ignore it. If it gets worse or stops you from doing normal activities go back to him so i think id give you the same advice. Let me know if its the same kind of feelings you have as it would be nice to know of someone else with the same problem.
Hope you ok
xx

im male , 38. its only happened twice and i would say its a heavy dead weight sensation , no real pain or discomfort, its not a crushing or heavy pressure feeling unlike you bekib ive no other ache symptoms
regards
hmm, well id say you might be better going to the docs and get it checked out. If its worrying you enough to post on here its better to be safe (shame i dont take my own advise!) Or maybe you should wait and see if it hapens again or becomes more frequent. But if it is really bothering you definately go and speak to someone. Hope you are ok, and good luck, let us know how you get on! Beki
