Does your employer have to accept responsibility for your vehicle while parked on there premises, and accept damage that has been caused by one of there own employed staff

Usually not. But you will need to check your contract on this issue.

In most cases where parking is offered to employees but not specifically allocated, then it's usually at your own risk. It may be different though if you have a parking bay which is reserved in your name and for your use only, in which case that may be included in your contract.
