What? What? What?

What am I seeing nowadays with girls and their makeup?

For goodness sake they look as if they have just facedived into their makeup bag and not looked at the result.

Foundation that is just a circle line round the face and chin, streaks of brown and white across cheeks and strange smudges about the nose and eyes!!! What The Funicular.

Do they not want to look nice nowadays? Do they just want to look like they have pancaked stuff on? Don't they realise they look ridiculous and that their going about their daily life face is not the same as 'it might actually look OK in photos because of lighting and such like' simply isn't the same!!

I know I must be old and decrepit for this but honestly... if the site allowed emoticons I would have a face palm right nor.

OK sorry about that...rant over. Well till I spot another one lol

That's contouring for you :)
It's the pouting for the camera that frustrates me. They look odd, can't they just smile?
I have to agree..most young girls look as if painting by numbers techniques have been used with no mirror !
The thing is, they all look the same!
..no individuality, I mean.
Not to mention the eyebrows, what's that about?

Thank god for that. I though it was just me that thought they looked ridiculous.

I simply can't help but stare open mouthed like some idiot never having seen a girl before. I think it would be rather rude of me to just ask them if they intended to do that to themselves!
It's what they want, overtly sexualised makeup.

Lol not me Tilly. I never had make then and still don't wear it now.
I'm still emulating Twiggy!
I think every oldie has said that since the dawn of time my nana said it to my mum in the 60s and 70s and my mother said it to me in the 80s and 90s.
at one time I had the pixie cut and spiked eyelashes...mini skirt with white knee length boots and white frosted lipstick..... I was gorgeous ! lol....
Oh yes! Anne Bolyn to Elizabeth....'You are not going out with that ridiculous white stuff on your face!'
Boleyn^
She was dead by then Tilly lol!

I recon it was some lazy slapped reality tart that set this trend off.

I bet she got up and either 1. Was too hung over to do a proper job or 2. Did it for a bet to see how quickly she could set a daft and stupid trend.
//lazy slapped reality tart //
That really is beneath you Cassa and slightly uncalled for!
Islay, a small matter. :-)
