If some one had a bad fall and staggered home and family called ambulance and when paramedics arrived and said nothing wrong with him and they can clearly see the man is crying with pain.
when taken to hospital he needed five stiches and had a broken arm which is now in a cast.
Did the paramedics get it wrong?
can they get it wrong?
are they allowed to get it wrong?

Not sure who your previous reply was aimed at , but I think you'll find a lot of us have sadly had to use the Ambulance Service for medical emergencies. Whist mostly a smooth running system of course it can have its failings. As stated above , make an official complaint with all the facts you have. Let us know how it proceeds.

This is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS!!
What on earth do we pay our national insurance for, then?
These people are supposed to be fully trained, and should be able to see when a bone has been broken.

Incompetent to say the least...
Hahaha Jokes.

They're human, for goodness sake. We all make mistakes.

If your friend was *** then, chances are, he was being over-dramatic.

Get a grip.
You complain to the ambulance service who came. If you don't know who they are the google "(your area) ambulance service" and then either "contact us" or "make a complaint/comment"

ok your missing the point - if you go to a & e you will find loads of drunks - people with common colds -- people from other countries who can not speak the lang -- all draining the system, then you get a brit sitting in a corner all hes life paid to teh system being brushed off.

come on the system failed or do we allow the paramedics to get it wrong becasue they are ""only Human""

trust me pain is being over dramatic pain is pain end off.
Maybe the paramedics were in a rush to get to an actual real emergency?

not sure what you mean by real.... someone dead -- someone has to be dead to be cared for?
your a strange one. go and have a cup o tea mate.
Paramedics and ambulances are for real emergencies - not a suspected broken arm. They shouldn't have been called in the first place.
Yes, I would complain or at least aska question.
And I suggest that when you contact them you don't start ranting about foreigners getting priority treatment
Your beef seems to be more with immigrants, rather than your friend who was "dying" of a broken arm...
This is where I think Paramedics (and others) should wear Body Cams, so when a complaint like this arises the exact scenario is there for all too see.

You could of course have called a Private Ambulance
if you're not happy with the NHS.
Just a thought!

I will do my best, thank you .
It's from Google. I have it on a t-shirt.
i'd say no, the paramedics did not get it wrong, as it as not a serious or life-threatening condition. How far was it from their home too the hospital? It's just under 20 miles from mine to the nearest A&E, I wouldn't dream of going by ambulance if I was capable of getting on a bus/taxi/calling a friend. In that 20 minutes, a life could be saved
