I took my partial dentures out all day today as my gums needed to be exposed etc. However in the last two hours I can't get them back in as I am gagging and gagging.

They are the chromium dentures but to me just feel as bulky as the acrylic temporary ones.

I have an appointment in two weeks to see the dentist but what will I do in the meantime. Do you think I am panicking a bit. I know this should be B&S but this site gets more viewers. Thanks for any help. I am really worried sick - dentist can't see me any earlier. Now that they have got the money I don't think they are interested. Sorry I went private now - this has cost me thousands of pounds.

Yes, you've got yourself in a state, leave it for half an hour then deep breath and calmly try again.

You do it every day so today is no different.

thanks for your reassurance Mamy I sure need it. I am crying now cos I just don't know what to do. All my life I dreaded my teeth needing help and it has come about.
I understand, even everyday things can cause panic sometimes - don't try until you have calmed a little.
Hi jj. Mamya is right,.....just relax for a while, calm your breathing, and try to drink something cold.
Good luck ;)
