Yes, it could, but could be due to a massive heart attack caused by other factors.

TY, Sqad. There's an ongoing furore here about a young man who was escorted off a plane after it landed in Ibiza. Friends said he'd told them he'd been assaulted by the police and the next morning he was found dead in his apartment.
I was thinking it more likely he'd succumbed to E rather than to the clip around the ear he might have got from the uncivil guards.

If one is going to postulate that the "massive organ failure" was due to trauma, then the trauma would have to have been "significant" and not as you say, a clip around the ear.
