thank you all, doctor phoned me made an emergency appointment to see her 9.20am tomorrow
Sorry to hear you are so down Bernie - but understandable if you are usually a busy person. Time and the future hangs heavy on your mind.

Great advice given above too - glad you are getting to speak to GP so soon.

Take care.x

thanks mamya xxx
Sorry to hear of your troubles, bernie....depression is the pits.
Glad you are seeing the GP so soon. That should help, whatever they suggest.

Try to establish some sort of routine for yourself so that you get up about the same time each day, get washed , dressed etc then set small achievable goals for yourself like walking to the shop for a paper, clearing the washing up, whatever you are pretty sure you can do without over-doing things.
Lack of energy and lack of 'oomph' are , unfortunately, all part of depression, so you have to try to make yourself do things whether you 'want ' to or not.
Slowly, slowly, though.
All the best.

thx mrs o xxx
You do sound much more positive today, bernie....that's good.
Keep plugging away at things and do try to remember not to be hard on yourself.
The odd treat , whatever a treat is for you, wouldn't go wrong either. (Be careful if it is alcohol, though. That doesn't help when you are down.)
I'm so sorry to hear you're going through such a painful time. From experience I advise to go to the doctor ASAP and get pills or medication to relieve you. Try to relax and if necessary go on holiday. Don't think to much about those jobs because that's gonna give you a lot of stress. Maybe theres something going on thats bothering you? You could also visit a counsoller. Try some sleeping pills also. If you get time please check out my latest question. All the best with whatever you chose to do Bernie :)
Remember you are not alone x:)
