My doctor asked me if I take this as my blood test results said it was high, I dont take it so what could be the reason for it, she didn't give me any clear answers

No idea.

It could be raised in Pernicious anaemia, but there would be other obvious signs of P.A particularly in the blood count.

That is my lot I am afraid, but slaney will fill you in.

If that's the same as folate, was it a fasting blood test?
