Four weeks is a short period of time for such an injury to resolve.

It will be weeks and not days before this is resolved.
Hi, I do sympathise with you! I had a crushed vertebrae in my neck a few years ago and the pain was indescribable . The only thing that worked for me was going to a chiropractor, he worked wonders . It took a few sessions to get it right but the oh the relief..he also advised placing an icepack on the site of pain wrapped in a tea towel for short periods of time which helped too.I now go twice a year just to keep it loose. Best of luck.
