I recently upgraded to this. So being a learner can anyone tell me why at times there is a blue circle going round and round in the middle of the box?

it means you are catching up on a programme [i think]...mrsmaveric has the controls 99.9% of the time...

The blue circle can appear when you are watching something you have sky+ ed
or it can mean that you have paused a programme and the machine then continuing the programme after the pause. Hope this helps.

It means that you are playing a programme that you have recorded and that you have turned off the TV without turning off the recorded programme which is still playing..
