Dad takes it for problems with his feet because of diabetes....a peripheral neuralgia type of thing...helps him !
It might........................not my choice of treatment................
Anne...I was diagnosed with carpel tunnel many years ago....flipping painful, isn't it. I was never offered anything other than some sort of surgery at Leicester General. The last place I wanted surgery so I opted for acupuncture...worked a treat though not everyone agrees with it...x

sqad, what would your choice of treatment be ?
I would wait......Ibuprofen 600mgms for the pain, particularly at night......for perhaps 6-8 weeks, if no improvement, I would seek surgical decompression of the carpal tunnel.

Great operation....good results.
I've had a steroid injection into my right wrist which has improved symptoms noticeably....however, surgery seems to be the next logical step.

G, thankfully its not me. I do know brufen has been used now for weeks, anyway he is awaiting blood test results.
