Yes you may of course call me Lisa!

Bear with me as this will be long winded! :0) But learn from my mistakes lol

You do need a kit with two batteries, one to be used and one on charge, these batteries are really good though and will last a couple of days per charge. And I use mine a lot!

I bought this to start with...

http://totaleliquid.co.uk/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=61_74&product_id=139

And it's good but you then need some of these... as opposed to the cartridges it comes with...

http://totaleliquid.co.uk/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=64_135&product_id=158

They attach to the Ego battery and are so much easier to fill with the e-juice/liquid, and give you a better and cleaner throat 'hit'. The amount you fill them with lasts longer too, so you only have to re-fill once a day [depending on how mush you vape]

Then all you need are your liquids! I have worked my my through various tobacco and fruit flavours and now 'vape' menthol. This really is of course a personal choice.

Loads to choose from though.....

For me it was the best thing I ever did in regards to my health and please do feel free to ask anything else you need to know :0)

Thank you Ron.

I think the main thing is to learn by my mistakes and not bother with the look a lie ones... they don't do the job in my opinion.

This is a really good and cheap way to get started....

http://totaleliquid.co.uk/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=61&product_id=128

and then pick a couple of juices from here....

http://totaleliquid.co.uk/store/index.php?route=product/category&path=72

They come in different strengths.. 18mg 4 mg etc with 4 being the strongest [thats what I use as I like a real 'throat hit'][throat hit is what makes it feel like a real fag lol]

What juices you like are a personal choice... so may be pick a couple and see how you go... each one cost around the same as 10 fags and will last you a week or two.

If you go this route here's even a video for you on how to fill it :0)

That should read 24 mg .... damn parrot seed on the keyboard!
You smoke weed Anne?
Am really divided, I tried them, but it didn't work for me. To be honest, it tasted like a very strange plastic. I found myself just craving a "real" cig even more! Still everyones different.

having said that, that was probably a few years ago when they were very new to the market, have the flavours changed now? are they a lot better?

danny,im not sure if they have improved,
Depends where you buy your juice from. Get a generic meh flavour from say your local papershop, chances are it will be rougher than a bears backside. If you buy it from a specialist shop, either a walk in one or one online, the chances are it will taste pretty much as it's described on the bottle.
From a BBC News report last week:
"Jeremy Mean of The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) said the government had concluded that e-cigarettes currently on the market do not meet appropriate standards of safety, quality and efficacy.

He said "levels of contamination" had been found in the products and some were poorly manufactured.

"We can't recommend these products because their safety and quality is not assured, and so we will recommend that people don't use them," he told a news conference."

The official advice is to use other sources of nicotine, such as patches.

I used them. They were brilliant. I eventually found that i could do without it. Untill stressfull time ( bereavement ). I did find tho that the replacement cartridges worked out more expensive than Taylor made cigs. You can pick them up pretty much anywhere now. Try the pharmacy in the local tesco. I heard the other day to that they are not licenced. What ever that means.
>>>I heard the other day to that they are not licenced. What ever that means.

It means that the law doesn't currently treat them as 'medicines', so the manufacturers don't have to seek a licence to sell them. As a result there are currently few controls on the content or quality of eCigs.

From 2015 eCigs will be classed as 'medicines', meaning that manufacturers will have to seek a licence to place them on the market. Such licences will only be granted when the manufacturer can prove that their eCigs are manufactured to consistently accurate standards.

Further, eCigs will then only be available through pharmacies.
I think you guys have got the whole ethos of E cigs wrong-All E cigs are not meant to be a stop smoking aid, and they say this on the packaging-they are not marketed for that. They are meant to be used in situtaions where ciggarettes cannotbe used ie a pub, club ect. Those who are using them to entirely substitute ciggarettes are doing it without any reccomendation from the manufacturers. My friend did stop her 20 a day habit with them though
