Thought you might like an update Sqad, and others who remember chickenpoxgate.

I am Little Miss Spotty again, in fact more than with the chickenpox scare. Checked with rhumo this morning as had an appointment anyway and they don't think it's methotrexate related but got a raised white cell count again (like chickenpoxgate) and something on my kidney results.

Got called in by GP and dip test fine. They reckon pityriasis rosea. Could explain the nausea and generally feeling a bit headachey and crap which I'd been putting down to mtx side effects. Wondering if this could explain the previous episode as well.

Being referred to orthopaedics for my knees (though the scan result I hand delivered seemed to be mysteriously missing, probably hiding with my physio referral!) and said they could do injections under my shoulder blades if the mtx doesn't get the inflammation down soon. Much more movement in my main shoulder bits after the steroid injections though :)

:) Junior Dr reckoned uticaria, senior Dr came in and said the pityriasis thing. I am keeping an open mind...and itch...and it's spreading...

It's a doughnut kinda night! ;)

Ooh, my friend I asked about (thrombosis) is now on warfarin, she can't remember the condition name. My relative (hypothermia etc...) seems, touch wood, to be doing OK. Cause still unknown!

I may amuse you to hear though that while standing with my top up while they were playing spot the spot, it took me some time to realise that the blinds were open!
I know......I was outside.....very impressive........;-)

Haha, nothing would surprise me ;)

Hmm, just been googling and according to Wiki, "An upper respiratory tract infection may precede all other symptoms in as many as 69% of patients". That may well be the chest infection of a couple of weeks ago then!

Sqad, if you are about, should the rash be warm? Noticeably warmer than surrounding skin. Getting my infection worheadonbut probably nothing :) Its spreading and lall irritated.

Please excuse dodgy txt, on phone at work (on break, not skiving:))
