Warfarin and tramadol

Hello .Does anybody know if you can take Tramadol painkillers when you are taking Warfarin .Thankyou

If you are getting both these drugs from your Gp, one would assume that they are safe to take, as Gp will know what you are taking unless you are getting tramadol from another source. Read the advice leaflet that comes with Tramadol and it should state if there are any interactions with a particular drug.
Or ask your pharmacist to check in his/her book .
You can, but it needs careful monitoring. There are reports of an interaction between tramadol and warfarin, with the symptomatic effect of increasing the effect of warfarin by an as yet unknown mechanism.

I agree with LazyGun........there should be no problem, but the INR should be checked regularly.

Try and find an alternative to Tramadol if possible.
