I'd lose confidence too, that is utterly shocking owd
what a prat....i hate it when dr's get it wrong (quite a lot in my experience!). why on earth could they not get a prescription written? presumably you were in an establishment with more than one dr? and they always seem to be on bl00dy holiday. poor you x
How frustrating. I take it the doc will be back before Thursday.

I hope you are not having too many nasty side effects from the chemo.
I hope it all goes well on Thursday. x
So sorry Owdhamer- keep your spirits up.
Oh Owd, so sad to hear that, they are usually far more organised there, hope all goes straightforward on Thursday. ♥
Some chemists give repeat prescriptions if they know you, lets hope your's will save you the trek. All the best
That is outrageous!
what a wang!
However, why they couldn't get someone else to prescribe is beyond me

i trust medical professionals implicitly, i have little choice.but my consultant appears a little bit slapdash.would it be proper or in my interest for another doctor to prescribe my chemo.
i don't see why not - it's only a calculation of your weight x the medicine
It might be useful to bring this to the attention of the hospital management. Consultants sometimes act like demigods but they do actually have a poor soul who is meant to manage them.
\\\ had not left the prescription, and was on holiday\\\

Gracious........Drs taken a holiday....whatever next?

This is an administrative error and couldn't the registrar have been summoned to write the prescription?

Mosaic.....the hospital management would have no interest in a Consultant being on holiday and there appeared to be no backup.

owdy......no big deal it won't affect your treatment as such.....just bloody annoying for you.
