Cost of ingrown toenail removal privately?

Hi, trying to find out the cost but it seems no chiropodist clinics where I live actually answer phones in order to give me a quote!

Anyone had it done and can give me a rough figure?

Asked to be referred by my doctor to have it done by the NHS, but was told (I quote): 'There isn't much point, as it'll take so long.' - Helpful!

I've had 3 lots of antibiotics now as it just gets infected all the time, so need to get it sorted really, have probably paid for half the price of the procedure in antibiotics!

Thanks in advance =]

I had mine done without much of a wait on the NHS.................ring the podiatry clinic at your local hospital and see what they say.

Say you want to see the surgeon privately.......you will have had it done in a fortnight.
I was told by a chiropodist years ago that if you cut a small "V" in the top centre of the big toe nail, then it will grow back to normal without any treatment. It worked for me but it took time.
My other half pays £28.00 per visit for all hard skin and corn removal and treatment for ingrown toenails. He goes every two months.
lol @ sqad trying to drum up business for his mates in the private sector. Ask for an NHS appointment and see what you are offered first. I said I was willing to accept a cancellation and got in within a couple of weeks.
Good luck...my doctor done mine in the docs surgery once!! Instant relief...brilliant xx
Just don't let this guy near you...
