OFF NOW TO DO MY BIT ........

............... for the national blood transfusion service.

just got home from work, had a quick look around here - and now about to go and give donation number 69.

very proud of myself ... especially as i have a morbid fear of needles.

i'll be back later - to have a beer, and fill the gap.

till later folks.

Son went off to give on Tuesday (his 25th so he really wanted to do it) waiting time was 2 hours! He couldn't wait and was so disappointed.
He should have made an appointment
He did... October 17th! In all fairness he was a wee bit late for his Tuesday appointment and they said they were very short staffed. His blood is very rare so if they need him urgently they'll call him.
I think they allow you to be up to 15 minutes late.
