hi i have been bitten by my pet and its swelling up i have not had a booster for tetanus since i was at school and i am 40+ it`s bank holiday and and the surgerys are shut, should i go to a and e it was a few days ago but i did not think it was a problem untill today i have had headakes and am feeling unwell today.

You should be knocking on the door and screaming for them to let you in. The quicker you get to A+E the better. Animal bites are always dangerous. (including human bites)

It's that worm I found in my garden last weekend (don't tell tiggs) - it had been living in a planter since 1996, the soil was fabulous and the worm was as fat as my finger and about six inches long!
