insulin pens

I use an aventis Optipen Pro 1 to inject glargine insulin,but my pens keep jamming. Can anyone help? or do you know of another type of pen to use for this insulin.

I use a novopen & I've never had a problem with it. They come in a wide range of colours from silver to blue & green.
This pen looks like a thick fancy fountain pen.
You may have to change your insulin but for every insulin type or brand you are on there are at least 4 others very similar if not exactly the same.

Changing insulins is easier than most diabetics think because all you have to do really is do more finger prick blood tests so you can notice any differences in blood sugars.

I use a novopen for novorapid insulin but the glargine insulin does not fit the novopen.
