hair styling in soft water areas

Just back from a holiday in the Lake District which was lovely, however the soft water played havoc with my hair, which has a natural wave to it. Although I used straightening products and hair straighteners my hair was limp flat and curly the whole week and looked like I had done nothing with it. How do you style hair in living in soft water areas is there any way to avoid problem holiday hair?

It's probably just that your hair isn't used to the soft water. I live in a soft water area and have no problem styling my hair, however I do notice the difference in my hair when I go to a hard water area, my hair never feels really clean!

Hi, Lush Cosmetics do shampoo bars which may help. You can choose from Hard (to use in hardwater areas) and Soft (for ********* areas)!
