I love the smell of pure lemons and limes - nothing else. Any ideas of a perfume/eau de toilette that might suit me, please? I don't want the perfume to have background smells of incense, floral notes or anything else. It is just the light citrus smell I am after.

Do these smell of lomons & limes only, please?
What you need is Lemon Cologne. This comes by the bucketful in Turkey. Google Lemon Cologne and you might find someone selling it over the net. Other than that, use the Lemon soap from Lush it's called Bohemian I think. The smell lingers quite a while.
clarins do a lovely lemony citrusy fragrance

i think its this one

''Eau Dynamisante :- is a fresh fruity fragrnace with notes of Lemon, Ginseng, Thyme, Orange, Caraway, Rosemary and Patchouli''.

its very fresh smelling.

I think Crabtree& Evelyn do a mens cologne-Sicilian Lemon that is lovely and fresh.....I bought it once not realising it was for men, I wore it anyway!!
Go onto the Harrods website bazzard. They have quite a few perfumes that mainly consist of citrus smells, and they're beautiful. You can get them delivered. x
One of the purest citrus smells is Dior's Eau Sauvage. Supposed to be for men, but more women use it (I do!) Another lovely lemony fragrance is O de Lancome.

Clarins Eau Dynamisante has already been mentioned and it's one of the very best for wearing in the summer as it's a beauty treatment combined with a gentle fragrance. No alcohol so it's safe to wear in the sun without creating nasty brown patches. I found this out the hard way!
Bodyshop do a load of scents and I have had a citrus one from them.
Try this it's lovely

A cologne that I use all the time. All natural products made from Burren flora.
"O de Lancome" is very citrus and fresh
Jo Malone was my first thought, expensive though. These are their citrus fragrances:

Thank you all for your very helpful answers. I have looked at some of the perfumes suggested and a lot have deeper background woody or fruity layers to them. Perfume is such a subjective thing that it is hard to recommend and sometimes describe, but I do appreciate your thoughts. I might try samples of these, when I next go shopping and see how they smell after a while. I suppose that they might smell different on different people?
i litre bottles of lemon cologne from turkey...everytime my sis goes i get her to bring me a couple back....splash it all over after a bath....lovely ....and fresh!!!!!!!
A pure lemon fragrance is impossible to find, bazzard, unless you go for essential oils ( not recommended), but I've found two that might suit - both are lemon colognes.

One is 'Agraria Lemon and Verbena Cologne' and the other is 'Duru Turkish Lemon Cologne'. The latter is here on Ebay for 4.49.
