I am 16 weeks pregnant and for the last 3 weeks, the upper part of my tummy is very swollen (to that of a 6 month pregnancy!) It peaks just above my belly button and then goes back in before it gets to the part where my uterus is! It is like this all day - even first thing in the morning before I eat and it is quite hard.

Have a pop down to your doctors tell the receptionist your concern and if she has anything about her she will nip you in to see the doctor there an then if not pop into your nearest walk in centre. advice can be given on here but in your case you need a professional even for the most trivial things its too precious not too. all the best. always speak to midwife or GP when concerned in pregnancy.

I can tell you though that Ive got similar sounding tummy which is painful when my son knocks it when i pick him up. My midwife says its my stomach and all my innerds because baby has now started encroaching on the space and pushed them up out of way as it take up all the room in my abdomen.
