I'm in my 60's and still have long hair. It's in extremely good nick (which I think is very important) and I just wear it in a pleat, a ponytail, or a bun.

Hi fruit,
shorter can look really nice! Do you like this? http:// |

Since I got older, my hair is short. I just blow dry it (no styling) and its fine. Personally, I don't like to see older women with long hair, I just think it suits younger people better.

Why don't you ask your hairdresser what style they think would suit you.

I think if I ever have mine cut I'll go for the Judi Dench style............

As you get older long hair at the front drags your features down (like we don't have to suffer with gravity enough already!!). How about a bob - not long at the frnt but shorter at the back.
(ps - I'm also in my 50s and haven't had the guts to cut my hair - go girl) |
