Utube. Why can i not watch the clips? Flash? java?

I can't watch the clips on utube i keep getting this message 'Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player. ' I have upgraded flash. but how do i check if javascript is on or not? Thanks for any help.

Do you have Java installed? The best place to start now that you've downloaded and installed the latest version of Flash player is to do the same with Java. It's free, like Flash is: http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

I had the same trouble, what I did was turn of my Norton Firewall and it worked. Just remember to enable it again once you have finished
