Why do foreigners speak very poor English? This includes the Scots, Welsh and Irish.

"why do the English speak very poor English?"
What are you DK?
But you see newsdesk - I am English but don't speak very good Foreign.

I do a pretty passable French, but otherwise :-(

My bf is irish and when we were in the south of england, he sounded terrible because the area we were in sounded posh lol!

Don't forget northerners and the cornish...
English is my only language, apart from please, thankyou, ect which I can say in Spanish and Greek. So I think foreigners speak more of someone elses language than I do.

I think foreigners do quite well considering it is not their first language, most brits are too lazy to even bother learning another language.
