Vaguely remembered poem

I seem to remember a poem about a man climbing a mountain and seeing birds flying. It's about the perception of time as the birds speed up. Not much to go on I know.

Have had a lead on this and although I don't have the name of the poem it appears it's part of a collection called something like 'Opening of the Third Eye'.
